Functions and Duties of Personnel Branch Department
|
The Personnel Department deals with the whole spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, selections, promotions, transfers, manpower planning, industrial relations, training and development, settlement and welfare of the employees. The department is headed by Principal Chief Personnel Officer.
Main Functions of the Personnel Department

Manpower planning and recruitment through various sources.

Implementation of reservation policy for SCs, STs, OBCs, PWBD, EWS and other weaker sections.

Training and career planning.

Fixations of seniority, promotions and transfers.

Drawal of monthly salary and other payments.

Fixation of pay and drawl of Allowances and Advances.

Accountal of various kind of leave, issues and Accountal of various kind of Pass/PTOS.

Implementation of various staff welfare schemes including grievances handling.

Implementation of Labour Laws and maintaining Industrial Relations.

Extending retirements/settlement benefits to the staff and their families.

Monitoring/guiding in D&AR cases/Court cases in staff matters.

Implementation of various modules of HRMS related Establishment matters.
